The Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation, a cornerstone of philanthropic support for the Cypriot community, is thrilled to unveil its recent collaboration with the Karaiskakio Foundation. A leading non-profit organisation, the Karaiskakio Foundation was established with the sole purpose of organising a volunteer Bone Marrow Donor Registry. Today, by setting a dynamic vision “for a world without leukemia”, it combines volunteering and specialised scientific support to serve the needs of patients with haematological malignancies.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on Monday March 27th, 2023 at the Karaiskakio Foundation’s headquarters in Nicosia between the two non-profit organisations. The aim of the MOU includes the details of the financial support of the Karaiskakio Foundation by the Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation, as well as the collaboration between the two organisations for the improvement and advancement of human health.
The Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation was represented by Mr. Charalambos Pattihis and Karaiskakio Foundation by Dr. Pavlos Kosteas.
Mr. Pattihis’ contribution and support were gratefully acknowledged by Dr. Kosteas, who expressed his appreciation following a comprehensive tour of the Karaiskakio Foundation’s facilities.
